Default Ready To Learn - Upcoming Screen shots

    Hi again, how you doing?

Here some screen shots to keep alive my upcoming project:

There's 4 minutes done already but I still need to animate more 4.000 frames (the song I'm using is 5:43 minutes long), so it might take a while; let's hope I finish this before my college classes begin...

That's it, I'm hoping you dudes are anxious to watch it.

    Reply me.

That looks very good, and it's fairly impressive you've already got 4 minutes worth of animation down!

I'd advice you to keep your project in a single thread however. It's encouraged for larger projects in the rules section and you'll be allowed to double post if you have any major updates like this.

Interesting style! I love that smoke from the gun, would like to see it in action.

I'm not sure if it is but the church(?) looks very 3D-ish, correct me if I'm wrong?

Done and done. Will you post more screenshots during the process? If so, just make to not spoil anything ;)

And welcome to DQ! Have a nice stay!

Looks good from here. I'm anxious enough to see how the animation would turn out.

    Keep it up, mate.

    Pretty good screenshots!
    Two things:
The first screenshot looks like its aspect ratio was artificially changed. Intentional?
The church's lighting makes zero sense. Unless they have a hidden huge spotlights, a brightly lit side is not how it really looks. If the model was 3d-rendered, you should've added light sources that actually existed in the scene.

I really like the some in the second picture. How did you do that? did you simulate it?

nice little touch to give the lamp directional blur in the first picture it gives a lot of movement to the scene

one quick (?) fix to the church's lighting could be to place a number of small spotlights along the bottom of the wall, the kind that one usually can find around monuments and such.

Looking forward to the finished result

Yes, but animate a long movie alone requires patience, I would had done it already, and with better graphics with a crew, but it don't generate much money like games, so it's kinda impossible have a crew for stick figures. Well... I won't create any other threads, everything I could share I'll post here. Thanks for the advice and compliments!

No, you're right. I got that model from Johan Bil, downloaded it 3ds and exported with Swift3D. I'm not that good modeler or drawer, so I pick what people are sharing (houses, cars, guns). I'm good at mounting the pieces together, animate stickfigures and create lighting using the vetors of Flash. All of that, of course, is to express my view of cinematic, what is something I live for. I'm your huge fan, by the way!

Yes and of course! I can't spoil much though, the plot is an open concept, even for me.

Thanks 'Stickmaniaz', 'DarkAngel505' and 'Kurei Z', that's nice to hear/read!

I don't know what you mean with Aspect Ratio, everything I´ve done was using Flash, and exporting objects with Swift3D. I can't agree with your 'zero sense', but I'll try to adjust the lights better; thanks for the tip!

What do you mean with 'some'? You mean the smoke? If it's the smoke: it is a texture, I didn't animate it and I would give my arm to see someone animating it in flash! Haha! An animated smoke is something you could do with brush and a blur filter effect, or slice parts of that texture and try to animate the best as possible.. But well, I only add a motion tween, just like I saw in Castle III when something explodes.

'Kingmiami' I'm close to the last fight of the movie, I really can't tell how much will take this fight cause it requires patience to make it look real... But I want to finish it before this month ends! Let's see...

'Flashlight' HahaHAhAahAHHA! the general is chillin man, and he's red now!

I felt kinda dumb saying I could not mold, and I was in need of a throne for the final scene, then I made that (was more the necessity than the feeling Haha!). But yeah, you can see it's really cubic and don't have the standart of 3D we see in this site, like Lloyd's face (Oscar, your 3Ds are wicked man, I don't have a clue how you do it).

In case anyone noticed I have a broken english, I learned the language myself so I'm afraid sometimes I do some grammatical errors, sorry about that!

I'll be adding more screenshots soon!

I gotta say it looks promising, I would say "keep up the good work" but you already know that apparently .

Regarding what BanHammor said, he meant that the lighting of the church's highest visible part is wrong, it should be darker since the light only reaches the roof next to it.

These screenshots look really, really amazing. Too bad I can't give you any constructive comments though, other than that your project has my full support!

I think it's really cool that you are still with your project. Starting an animation is the easiest part. Finishing it, on the other hand, not so much.

I was just about to say. Brings back many fond memories of my early high school days.
Either way, consider me impressed with this whole endeavor.

    I'm not sure I follow.
