Valentine's Day doesn't have to entail anything involving chocolates, roses, romantic dinners or the act of "love".

Heck, it could just be a celebration of friendship and love.

    Lmfao...

    @Paper why must they burn?!

@Vic if you kill all who celebrate or even wish for a valentine gift that leaves only you, a handful of people, Madagascar, and all members of Jehovah's Witness. That's not a very fun world :/ to have...

@DC your right it's quiet gendersided, it should be about both of them not just one.

@Tyemdi it should be love fir alltypes but unfortunately it's not. But I'll give my pet a pink cupcake at least. lol

Someone should start making Bromance cards with bronies on them for Valentines to break the cycle lol
    maybe?

Blue Lily, not a good idea. Especially on a valentines 'holiday' because this holidays generally nothing but messed up.

I don't freak out over it, but I always make sure to scrounge up enough money to get something for my girlfriend, although I never get a rose or any of that shit, too cliche.

You mean more cliché than expressing "special" love on a set date every year for the rest of your mechanical relationship?

    Yep.
But considering her birthday is two days apart from Valentine's Day, I can send her gifts on the day in between for both occasions and kill two birds with one stone.

Blue Lily, your just going off topic now. And some of us are bronies, but don't take the reaction so seriously. And don't make a comment like that ever again because it is invalid to this..

He didn't say you was quoting. He was making a quote in reference.

Relax. I mentioned a bromance valetine card as a joke since the beginning. Thus why I posted 'I knew you'd say that' video. I don't understand how that is off topic.

Oh. My bad. I thought he was referencing the show as an example to the quote.
But I wasn't making out as trying to defend him.

Speaking of materialism, I'm surprised how they could have made such a gimmick and selling out everything ranging from teddy bears, to cards and chocolates at a rather desperate price.

Sorry to double post. But the Google video for Valentine's Day is pretty sweet and advocates for love not being made out of material goods.

But it still makes me feel incredibly depressed.

That was sweet, but has nothing to do with Valentine's Day. I could apply this video to any day of the year, since it just means to address the backwards approach to romance that's sadly become standard - buy love.

I had so much fun at school today - people think you're really romantic if you buy a chocolate and give it to someone.
