Well, as long as nothing is brought to harm, it's OK.

Even if it's a form of resistance in a way.

    not sure if serious,
anyways I find the idea of this church pretty good, despite the fact that it's funny as hell.

It's probably not going to affect too much internationally, considering how big ACTA is, but at least it's something for that.

I agree that this is funny as well.

Funny but it said at the end 'The government is pushing ahead with the controversial legislation despite continued opposition'. Not good.

This isn't funny. This is beautiful.

It doesn't look like it conflicts with an Episcopalian lifestyle and belief system. I might take this up. BRB looking at website

Ok after reviewing their website I conclude the following:

    a) They want all information to be accessible to all people
    b) They also want privacy, and for people not to be monitored while accessing said information.

So ALL information should be public and free, no exceptions, *except mine*? I dunno. I kinda thought they'd be more nuanced than this, have boundaries on what kinds of information are sacred and what kinds are not.

They're definitely serious about this though, it's not like Pastafarianism, so I still recommend it to anyone who's interested.

You DO know that this Flying Spagetti Monster-religion isn't really a religion but a parody to make fun of christianity/muslim/all religions. Saying that worshiping spagetti is the same as worshiping Allah, Jesus, etc which is kinda offensive for me but whatever.

It alwyas makes me sad to see others not believe in a religious faith but that's another topic in of it's self.

So yeah, I think this is the same thing Varth lol. Just another parody to gain public media attention.
    maybe?

Well that's a nice sentiment... Like the homeless! Yeah, those atheists sure are silly.

    That's exactly what Warren said.

Edit: Oh, I just realized I misread that last quote. I thought you said you were agreeing with Warren, so my sarcasm doesn't work anymore. Sorry about that.

Yes, I know. I spent several years on their forums, to my everlasting shame. That's why I said "They [the Kopimists] are definitely serious about this, NOT LIKE Pastafarians". Was that unclear?

No, I am pretty sure they are serious about this. They have an actual ideology and spirituality and they are not obnoxiously self-effacing, the way that the Pastafarians are.

Relax, if you feel I misread something fine, I don't know any of your normal behaviors. What's considered a joke between everyone sounds aggressive to me. What sounds serious and geniune to me might be sarcasm. :Shruge: cut me some slack. I barely know you guys.

I think that they are a religion I could actually believe in, other than my inherent solipcism.

I'm sorry, I didn't intend any aggression. Just wanted to clarify my position, which I wouldn't have thought would need clarifying but there you go.
