It IS NOT fishing for pity. It is a quite accurate observation. I have grown through the phase of self-pity and right through into acceptance, hence my comment about ridiculing away.

If that was really true, your thread title should look very different. Right now, at the very least, it appears you're fishing for pity and that's horribly tiring and de-motivational. It's like those wonderful people who start a thread in showoff with "Here's my shitty work and whatever."
