Could we have one extra day please? I sent a message to kronosdragon regarding finishing our match up quickly, but I don't think she's gotten it yet. Conflicting schedules slowed the pace of our match, but I'm sure that if we could arrange to be online at the same time, we could work our way through the rest of the game in a few hours at most.
Edit: Oh, and I've already started my match with Ivyn so I won't fall behind.

That's fine I suppose. Just make sure to make a post when the match is done, since I'll only keep up with current round matches. Also just note, and to reiterate, on Sunday when I make the pairings, it'll be done so using the games that have been completed. That might not really mean much to most, but it does directly influence the quality of the tournament. (The swiss system pairs based on ability in order to make fruitful and interesting matches.)

Incorrect, it means that kronosdragons match against Sirrin is currently declared as forfeit. The same rules still apply for Round 2, and if there is no winner by Sunday it will be considered forfeit (for the purposes of pairing).
I highly suggest everyone to take advantage of Chess.com's live chess page (http://www.chess.com/livechess/myhome.html). You can still link to your games by looking at that page and clicking "View" on the respective row. At the moment (since it's just a brand new addition) the time rules are to your discretion, though I recommend 10 0. This way you can ensure your match is completed by Sunday in a maximum of 20 minutes.

If you fail to initiate a game two times, you will be dropped from the tournament.
And it's only twice because I'm letting it slide this time. Next time, you both will be dropped the moment Sunday hits and there is no link for that match.

For the record, go_habs_go and kronosdragon did start their match, though that doesn't excuse the fact that they failed to post it I suppose.

Bad news - the motherboard on my computer is fried and my computer refuses to start at all anymore. I'll still be around for the tournament but in bursts. If my continued involvement proves impossible, I'll message DC.

Why are you eating the tournaments currency!?
Either way, scores updated. I think I've found a comfortable groove with this tournament. Quality of the tournament will be directly proportional to your own participation. Matches will be paired on Sunday, so if you want to make sure you get a good pairing then that would be incentive to finish up your match. Otherwise, scores will be updated whenever the match finishes. Again though, if you don't start a match by the time that Round is officially over (next sunday), you're out.
