Alright folks, it's time for another tournament. It's going to be a simple tournament, everyone battles everyone once, and the player with the most points at the end is the winner! We'll be using Chess.com again so if you wish to join the tournament you'll have to sign up with them.

I'm going to limit it to ten entrants again first so please only apply if serious.

To apply to enter the tournament, simply make a post explicitly stating that you wish to join and provide a link to your profile on chess.com. Please be aware that this does require commitment on your part. Only apply if you plan to stick to the tournament and frequent this thread for updates.

I think I might do this tournament by the week. As in, everyone paired up each has a week (7 days) to get their match done, whether through a live game or a correspondence game. Round starts on Sunday, ends the next Sunday. When the tournament starts I'll give more details but as it stands it'll again be required that the matches be ranked and standard (Not 960).

Are there formal rules to determine who is black and who is white?

I think he went over them in the first tournament. Not sure, though.

I would join, but school's very busy for me right now. I'll probably join in on the third tournament, if there is one.

    I certainly hope not :/
I don't have time to play a chess match each day. One match per week sounds good to me?
    maybe?

The conditions are expressed if you'd just care to read. If you have a question, please make sure it's not already explained in the opening post of the thread before you ask. Thank you.

Swiss rules. No player shall play the same color more than three times, and shall be kept equal as much as possible.

That image is way too big to effectively be funny. Even at 1050pixel height I have to scroll down to see the whole thing.
