Seeing how most - if not all - recent discussions have boiled down to overblown arguments that have absolutely nothing to do with their intended topic, I feel compelled to insult those involved - myself mostly - by dedicating a topic entirely to being off topic. Every post in this thread has to steer the conversation away from its previous direction in the last post. Yeah, it's kind of like Boredom Nexus except you can't be completely random, it has to be related in some way and try to keep the really short posts to a minimum.

I have no reason to believe this will be a good idea; I'm bored, it's late and I just want to take the piss out of my own pathological need to comment on everything and explain my perspective.

I mean, how can you have an off-topic topic and still be off topic? Isn't that kind of like dumping something into a pool of water without it becoming wet? Like Super Hydrophobic spray!
