Horror isn't about being 'scarred', it's about being entertained. I linked these creepy pastas because they all establish the narrator to be of our world by doing blog posts, threads and generally documenting a normal world and life until the point where something goes amiss. This kinda excludes the SCP Foundation, which pretty much goes by the premise that the world is full of monsters that needs to be kept away from public view.

Or maybe I just saw so many of them already they started to bore me. I mean, I've read hundreds of generic stories about ghosts, mirrors, stalkers, video tapes, games, children, dark places etc. I don't find it fun anymore.
But now I've checked out SCP and I love it already. Not because I'd be scarred, but because I simply love the way it's written. So thanks K_T.

As for the supernatural I believe in those what you guys refer as creepypastas, I have a friend whose mother was or still is engaged with black magic and I could not explain to you how rough childhood he had.
I haven't read all of the creepypasts that you posted but I'll share with you my trauma, when I first watched scary movie 3 and saw Samara I was little (she is definitely scarier at that movie than in the Ring). Then one night she started appear and that wasn't a very pleasant experience at all, she stood there in her dress with her black hair over her head and she was watching me. I was in the bed and I've momentarily closed my eyes and now goes the scary part, even when my eyes are shut I still saw her
She started to walk towards me and I've felt a chill in my bones (also I've felt a great evil in my presence) I wasn't crying but I was shaking in fear. I instantly turned over to the wall and I could felt her breath on my neck, than I don't know how I got the strength to stand up and turn the lights on and go to my parents. This haven't happened once, the last time it happened a half year ago when I had a nightmare and when I woke up i saw her but I was used to her and I wasn't afraid. As for the first time I can't express how I had felt (especially one time when she ran towards me), now it's the same as then but I'm not afraid I'm watching her and sometimes swear in her face.
