Well. That is but a glitch in the game. I am pretty sure that happens or something when you break the little piston part that shoots out of it.

Right now its a fight between me and the forge over getting the shields to work without it, so far I have crashed the game 26 times.

Bumping to make note that the forge is making this mod extremely difficult to change. I may even have to re-write the mod just to get everything working the way you wanted.
EDIT: Re-writing the mod. Its easier than it seemed initially and I am managing to fully remove links to the forge. I'm also re-doing the texture atlas so that 1.) the code is cleaner, 2.) I can have the sheet organized so I can remember all the locations, and 3.) I will be able to add more shields/items if so inclined.

Problem here Writer, for me, the server host cannot be resolved. Was the IP address changed or something?
