Default Faulty Flash in Flash section

Some time ago I wanted to watch Castle II. So I went to the Flash section, clicked on it and everything I got was a blank, white rectangle in place where video should be. Even after leaving it for some ten minutes to load up, refreshing and opening it in another tab, there was still the same mistake. I thought it was just a temporary site's mistake, so I leaved it at that.

Today I tried again and got the same result. Just to be sure, I checked all other Flashes and found out Castle I is a bit glitchy. Some backgrounds are missing and there are few minor graphical issues. All others seem to be okay and have no faults.

I'm using newest Firefox and I also tried with IE; there were no differences.

This happened to me with Chrome, but it only happened to Castle 2. I haven't checked since that once - it happened just recently - but it was kinda weird.

Same thing here with Castle II. I reckon the flash has to be re-uploaded once in a while due to age and expiry date.

If not, PM Oscar on what the problem is is the best way to solve this. The problem lies in the website, not the browsers (obviously).

In the meantime, we can watch the Castle Series (except the 1st episode) on Stickpage.

I believe the page source needs to be updated.
Since the swf file is hosted on SFDT it's subject to being moved or removed.
In the source code the video that's trying to be loaded is from this url...
    http://www.sfdt.com/showcase/files/1...testnolagg.swf
But you can still find it here.

Externally loaded swf files have probably been moved or removed. It's easily fixed by simply uploading them to our own DQ server. It shouldn't be a problem nowadays. There used to be an overload of traffic when a new part of Castle was released, which is why we loaded the files externally in the first place.

The other issue is probably caused by the swf background color properties. I think some parts of Castle should be set to #999999 but there's a default setting overriding it.

    Thanks for the report Shinoi.
