    Default 3d Models

    Hey all!
Have been inactive in the flashscene for a couple of years now and i have lost all the resources ive had before. Is there any 3d Model pages that you are aware of where you can download 3d-stuff for free? Im looking for a chopper. If not, are you aware of any webpage with good tutorials for this kind of stuff? Been scouting the internet for a while but haven't found what im looking for.
    Help would be appreciated.

NO! Make the models yourself! Just start using lightwave, you'll understand it eventually. People who use other folks models in their stuff are the lowest kinds of animators, due to the fact that they have very little experience with the programs most of the time.

You obviously know nothing about Flash animation. 3D packages (such as guns and vehicles) can be downloaded for free, and there's nothing wrong with it as long as the creator give permission. Any flash animator can use the 3D models as long as they give credit and download stuff they are allowed to use. Don't shout at somebody like they were noobs :|

Hey Ivyn, I kinda missed your post, so I wanted to say you're dumb. You know, some people don't know or have no time making 3D models they need. Why do many game developers use same game engine then, for example?

I used the a free model for the apache helicopter in Castle III part A & B. You'll also find it in the Joe Zombie series. The one Jocki custom made for me was heaps better though. So my point is, if you want to be completely original you're better off making it yourself or have someone make it for you.

Alright, I'll just write a new flash-based animation program every time I want to make a new animation. You can't compare models with engines, my god!

It was the worst of the kind and you even had the nerve to call him dumb when he had a perfectly good point. Originality is best, but it's not necessary if you don't have the resources or skills.
With that said, we're all kind of off topic because he's asking where he can get models, not if it's a good idea.

You made a good point. We both have.
    I found those two sites:
    http://www.free3dtutorials.com/
    http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial...3d/Modelling/1
You might find them useful. The second one is for Blender and again, I recommend it, if you want to be original, of course.
    http://www.the3dstudio.com/product.aspx?id_category_0=1
And this is 3D resources site.
    All free, of course.
