    Default Yahoo Password Recovery

Hey there everyone. So I tried logging in Steam today, and it asked my for an authorization code which was sent to my Yahoo E-Mail. Problem is, I rarely used this e-mail to the point that I completely forgot its password, and when I tried going for password recovery, it asked me for an alternative E-mail. Problem is, I don't remember ever giving one.

I don't really care if this E-mail dies. What I care about is that without it I can't log in to Steam at all. So does anyone know anyway to fix my problem?

I can only say that at least you learned your lesson of never using a rarely-used email to a frequently used website. Yahoo! is cool, anyway, man. Why'd you lose stop using that?

Contact Yahoo or Steam and see if they have an alternative solutions. Otherwise, just guess on an alternative email address, how many do you have?

Everyone I knew was using MSN, and I had to keep in touch.

Well, even if I can't get my password back I could always contact customer service, but I'd rather not go through the trouble. Still, if it comes to that I really don't have a choice. There are hundreds of dollars worth of games in there.

Yeah, I just might try that. As for the alternative E-Mail solution, I have had no idea what that was until now when it asked me during password recovery. I'm guessing that it had asked me something of the sort during regisration, but that was years ago.

You could always add those people with your Yahoo! I recommend you try and contact Customer Service now instead of staying anxious for weeks.

Well, problem's solved now. Out of luck, turns out the alternative email I typed in all those years ago was my mother's email address. However what still stood in my way after that were the two security questions which caused me a momentary feeling of dread. Out of another brilliant stroke of luck however, both of the questions had answers which were extremely obious for me, and impossible to get wrong. After that i was able to reset my password, and enter Yahoo successfully.

First thing I did was change my Steam's contact E-Mail to MSN.
