Magic - He IS an apprentice in the hidden library after all. His magical abilities are divided into three:
Animation - He can animate any object he chooses, although they never are very friendly...
Restoration - He claims he can "fix" things ie: broken items, other puppets, severe injuries... But he has yet to cast a successful healing spell.
Sparkles - With the help of magical sparkles he can teleport items at a whim, including himself.


History
It cannot be said that Anastase lived a hard life. Nor can it be said that he lived a life of luxury. He was granted three meals a day, had a roof over his head, and had just enough money to get by. As a child, he often borrowed books from the local library, spending most of his free time reading out of this world stories. His fascination for books was so strong, that by age 10 he had read all of the books in the library.

By the age of 13, he began to suffer from short-term memory loss, causing him to forget most of his experiences from that point on. This loss of memory has led him to forget key factors of his personality, making it seem that he has a split personality. Upon awaking at Guillotine Mansion, Anastase found that his body was replaced with that of a puppet. The cause of his death is still lost with his memory...

Now he has spent a few months in Guillotine Mansion, and life for him has not changed that much. Sure, he's met new friends (and traumatized them), but really it's all the same to him. Snippets of his memory do come back to him at times, but not enough to piece together his entire past.

Additional Info
He may steal a piece of clothing he likes when you first meet him.
He's hollow inside. Literally. Stick something in him, he'll rattle.
He has a cat/prinny pet called Mr. Kerfuffle.

Favorite sketch is the one of Rin/Len (that's their names, right?) Despite what you said, it didn't have any real flaws. Please change the weight of Ana, his current one is Mary sue-ish (He weighs less than my 13 year old brother!)

Hm, while yes this seems to be a style based around that of japan anime/manga, I think this style of yours reminds me a lot of a old manga I used to read.

May I ask what art program you use for coloring? I'mma big fan of coloring, but I can guarantee it's nowhere near this good, but I'm getting better

Ah hell, I forgot this thread wasn't your art thread because of the title and haven't been looking. Anyway just a few points I'd like to make on these new ones. As for Anna's 'app', her head's a bit to be looking as closer to the camera, when her body's facing in another angle. You can tell by the chin. From the angles the head and the body are facing, the chin should have been on line with the necks center. And her anatomically left leg looks too thick. Keyword there, looks. I know she's wearing baggy pants but you need should add more bags/lines across the surface of the pant legs to show just how much of their mass is pants and not legs. Black Rock shooters hair's a bit off. You know where two long locks of it are blowing around? Are those, ribbon esque things or jut hair? If hair, the lines connecting them and the actual head of hair are too thick. Her frontal arm's too straight, it bends a bit unnaturally...but the oddest thing about her is her torso. It's pretty much a round edged rectangle and isn't a sensible shape. Unless, it falls in with your style then I'll overlook it-but I would recommend going with a realistic torso anyway.
As for the contest entry, the on issue I can see is with the arms. The guy's arm is too straight. Looks awkward and should be bent a bit. And, the girls arm's actually too bent, and maybe a bit too long. It looks like the bottom half of her arm is bent right across her stomach, perfectly, but with the angle her bodies/shoulders are facing, that shouldn't be possible. Her lower arm shouldn't be flat to the camera, it should be coming from the distance slightly.

On whole though you're retained your chosen style in each of them and they're all bright and colorful, something I really like about your pieces . Just keep watch on your occasional anatomy errors and you'll have some really impressive pictures in no time !

Also you might have to go back to messaging me when you've made a new art because, yeah Balf I can't remember an art thread from that :c

Your art is very lovely! It had a very bright and happy mood feeling! And most colours added in a drawing makes up with everything! Also, I hope I don't sound silly, but your eyes in the painting looked not alive, I guess you could brighten the eyes a little, give the eyes a little more detail? But overall, it is very lovely and very japanese like!
