Black Ops: Zombie Survival Techniques

Hello everyone As i said i love call of duty.Earlier i made a mistake about my post. There was already a post about Modern Warfare 3.. Anyways i hope i wont make a mistake again.


This is the map 'Kino Der Toten' from Black ops

At Black ops i prefer playing Zombies than playing multiplayer. İ usually play this map with my friend Tobias.Yesterday we played 1 game and we reached round 38. I wish to make better one day so thats why i made this post.If any one of you readers plays this game i would like some ideas from you or correct the mistake of our stratagy.İ hope you can see the picture cuz its not tooken with HD.Anyways lets get to the stratagy.

Our plan begins with the simple part we only use knife untill round 5 and than we open the first 2 doors to the mp40 room.After that round the dogs come.We camp near the speed cola place so that we can minimize the place that the dogs can come(that way they only come from front).Im sorry i dont have a picture for that but i hope you understand.After that round we stay there for 2 more rounds so we have points till we can open the other 2 doors to the theatre.At round 8 we are at the theatre.One of us holds the door at the back.İf you understand the picture look at that teleport device.The door i mean is behind that.And the other guy holds the main enterance.And thats at the right of the picture. at round 10 we open the power and we get the juggernaut.After all these things are done we search for the box.İf we are lucky we get the weapons we want.I prefer 1 point making weapon and 1 special weapon.As point making weapon Galil or Aug is nice.As special i usually choose the Thunger Gun.But you can choose ray gun also.After we upgrade our weapons my friend Tobias goes to the theatre and i go to the place with the flag as you see in the picture.We go like this untill round 25 - 30.After those rounds our ammunition wont be enough to complete the round.There are trap doors every where in the map when our weapons are almost finished my friend starts following me and we open trap doors.As i said we reached round 38 yesterday but we didnt fail i mean we didnt die.To be honest my dad made me close the computer So we had to close anyways i know mayby this post was boring cuz its all just words but if you spared some time reading this please leave a comment and a suggestion of yours so mayby we can do better or faster if we play thank you

I am quite surprised that I haven't made a thread about this yet...

I love zombies, thats actually the main reason that I havent sold my copy of BlOps yet. The main way to survive on Kino is to run laps in the higher rounds, but at that point things get boring if your playing on solo (like I am usually). It works, Ive gotten up to 32 on solo using this technique.

Btw Holo, do you play on a 360 or a PS3?

That wasnt exactly advice. Advice would be this:
Rounds 1-2- Knife only
Rounds 3-4- 8 shots upper body (w/ M1911) + 1-2 knifes| 2-3 shots anywhere (w/ M14) + 1 knife
Rounds 5+ Whatever works for you

I haven't been able to play the zombie maps on black ops because somehow I can't play together with my friends.... but when I will play them I'll take your advice, your plan looks like something that should work well.
I also have the pc version of the game btw.

I like it more than cod, because there are better enemies, it's a bit more strategic and is harder. And i like the setting more, it's more horror and stuff. Zombies and nazies are a bit old for me.

First of all sorry for the double posting and second i play black ops for only zombies for now and i play other maps besides Kino Der Toten but i didnt try Dead ops yet :/ anyways i got some stuff for the map Five also.






Well if you played this map before you know the starting stuff.Stay in the begining room for round 3 or 4(actually i do this with my friends) than open the other room.After that i recommend you to get an MPL cause high fire rate and kills with 2 ammo at head shots.I know it shoots a lot and wastes ammo but if you do tapping fire(my friend calls it that ) imean if make single fire its a good weapon to make head shots.While you own some zombies and get money at round 7 clear the obstacles at the elavator and make sure all your team mates got MPL.We camp in there untill round 10 or something and if you cant only hold with MPL you can get the shotgun olympia to help you out.There are 2 windows near the elavator dont forget to check them because if zombies get through there your dead.They are realy close to the elavatorand they will barge in.






As you see in this picture i mean if you can see these are the rooms at the map Five.(Well actually not the basement)Anyways we were at the Briefing Roomat the begining now we went down to the War Room Topside.There are 2 weapons Mp5k and another smg i dont remember its name right now.I get MP5K cause more accurative and it has a good fire power for a smg.We try to survive there for 2 rounds and than we open the war room downside.Thats the place that you will have to try to survive.We clear all obstacles to the elavator first cause you need to get your new weapons(the elavator to the basement).When we go to the basement the round is like 14 or something.We try to get some money and that round we make a crawler.One of us distracts it and others get weapons.After they are done the distracter gets the turn to open box.If you arent so unlucky you get some good weapons and now its time for the big deal.You kill the crawler and done after that you go to the elavator whichtakes you back to the war room downside and now its time to clear all obstacles there.
Try to survive there and get your money untill 5000 so you can pack a punch.After that is done its time for the defcons.There are 5 Defcons and you need to open emall.I cant actually explain where is the location of them but they all are in the war room.After you open them the portal to the pack a punch will be activated but the only problem is that the Pentagon Thief is coming.İts a stupid creature that steals your weapon and if none of your team mates can kill it your weapon is gone.When that thing comes it spawns from the portal you must go after you kill that ass hole.First it only chases one of your team mates i mean it always chases one.The one who is being chased has to only run so it cant get your weapon.While you run your team mates should own thatthing.But if you cant run and it takes your weapon dont worry if your the first one who has been stealed.The creature teleports you to the basement along him self and you have to follow which portal he uses so you dont get lost it always goes back to the war room as you should also.After your team mates kill it if anyones weapon was stealed you get it back.Than the good part comes it opens the portal to the pack a punch room and you do your job.After that just follow this if you understood anything of it and good luck Time to kick ass

You can tell what you also do for your stratagy and i also know this is a old map besides the new ones but didnt play them yet sorry.

I know this threads name is about Black Ops but since our subject is about surviving against zombies i want to add something about Call Of Duty 5 - Nazi Zombies too.Well i usually play with my friends and we make it to round 40 or something.I see on youtube people make like round 62 O_o? Well thats pretty impresive but the thing is they use my stratagy İf you have played COD 5 you know the starting room.Well there are 5 windows and when you look right there is a door that is written help.Well people usually openthat door first to get to the weapons room.Thats a big mistake cause you make your job much harder.Its impossible to handle all 8 windows at once.My stratagy is first i clear the path to upstairs and than one of my team mates clear the path to the gun room from the second floor.Im sorry i cant show images but if you know the map you can make it on your head.Well there are 2 windows and a wall at that place 1 people or if cant handle your self 2 people holds the windows other 2 holds the stairs.You dont need to use your ray gun if you have one already.To round 19 or something we dont use raygun only machinegun.By the way if your teammates arent your friends from your neighbourhood or something i recommend you to use microphones cause when your reloading youneed to tell.If both of you will reload at same time zombies will barge in and they will rape your ass

There are also different maps at COD 5.Der Riese and Shi No Numa.Well i didnt play these maps so much but i must tell they are much harder for me If you like i can try to find a tactic for there too..

There are also different maps at COD 5.Der Riese and Shi No Numa.Well i didnt play these maps so much but i must tell they are much harder for me If you like i can try to find a tactic for there too.

Tactic for Shi No Numa: get weapons from box, best make it disappear and relocate to a house. There are 4 houses (2 or 3 windows and a door each). Every roung (when it gets harder) hold the door as long as you can, then turn on electricity. When round is over, run to other house and repeat that. You can also help yourself with zipline.

Tactic for Der Riese: hiding in the factory in the middle. It has a nice "bridge" upstairs with a "cage" on the other end. Hide in the cage. Zombies will have to make their way all over the bridge to reach you. Porter's X2 Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-3 recommended (upgraded Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe).
Hide there when it gets hard. Before that I recommend to link teleporters, get perks, and upgrade weapons you get from box. How to move around the map? Throw grenade and let it blow zombie's legs of. Then don't kill him. He'll follow you but slow. That's how to buy yourself some time.
