And NOW I've paid a visit to the place we might as well call "hell", and I agree with Jedi-L-FTW...that sound that you hear when you're in hell is freaky! I seriously went from "Whoa! I'm in hell, and it isn't all that scary!" to "F*ck this, I'm teleporting out". This made my day!

The Minecraft sunrise/sunset is officially beautiful.

Not only does the sky change from blue to orange to pink/peach then blackish purple, the stars become visible earlier as well.

Aaanyway, moving on to the topic of what cool people do in Minecraft. I totally just mined out a good portion of the land I'm on. Sure, making a cave home into a massive mine pit was cool and shit, and so was hitting the bedrock, losing a few of my diamond oriented items (fucking skeletons), I have so much redstone now that it's becoming stupid.

Anyway, that being said, I'm collecting a lot of cobblestone because chances are, once I've finished mining the absolute shit out from underneath my house (that being said, I use torches to light paths towards my other homes), I will be building a castle on the mountain top. Once this is done, I will be working to purge all evil from my land.

Consequently, I must say for such a simple looking game, it is damn beautiful.

Hmmmmm, Invisible arms. . . That's gonna be a tricky one. Though I have 2 ideas to how to accomplish it; the minecraft idea, and the flash idea.

First idea: What you do is make the room with a hole in the ceiling and for the invisible arm(s) and then use water to fill that hole to make a column aka arm. Now that's boring though having a arm come from the ceiling, we want it to come from the floor. So afterwards edit the video by flipping the video upside down, making it look like the arm is going up. (note: the ceiling has to look like the floor to get the illusion right)

Though, this option will limit the use of arms alot the second idea is easier but might not follow the minecraft genre quite so.

Second idea: Use flash to animate in an arm manually (which as it happens, I'm probably the most qualified person to use flash on video, given what I've been up too with CI etc [sorry, bragging]).

These are my thoughts, but anyway, great idea to make a castle in minecraft. Though mind you, I don't like the idea of hacking in minecraft to instantaneously get as many blocks as you want, it's more fun the old fashion way, you guys agree???

Saw that in a video once. That places was scary O_O. Anyways in minecraft today I finally came face to face with a creeper...the thing blew up most of my house!!! It was still pretty funny though XD. Also good idea Net sounds like alot of fun.

Well I finally figured out what the creepy ass noises in the Nether are.

It's the freakin' Ghasts!

Turns out the giggling and screaming are the passive and pain noises Ghasts make, which you can hear regardless their distance from you.

I always thought it was the blocks screaming out in pain. That'd be much creepier.

I agree. That's why I was so dissapointed when I found it when it was the Ghasts.

I just mined out 83 Iron, 23 Gold, 8 diamond and and a metric fuckton of coal from a cave I discovered while I was digging out a basement in my fort. And there's still more down there, I just ran out of picks.
