It's supposed to represent a blue star and an asteroid.

Don't worry, I know it doesn't look like a star. At least asteroid is recognisable, right? Right?

I really like that Shinoi. I think it's a good use of space (badum-tish?) and I like the way the planet and light look. The longer I look at it the more I wonder if the light should really be that 'smooth' but it's still good for a work in progress.

You should definitely limit the amount of visible stars where the light is strongest. This means the stars, lensflare and around the surface of the planet. I dunno why, but most images I see from space it seems that planets have a more blurred sort of deal going on at their surface, as if the light bounces back and makes it look as if they light up on their own.

Thanks for critics, both of you. Next thing I'll do is limit the stars around the horizon of planet and around star and lens reflection.
I'll also add a light gleam above horizon, like atmosphere and add some clouds and continents.

Wow no one's posted here in a while. I'm really hyper. I think those brownies I ate hours ago had a delayed effect on me.



Just a quick little sketch thing of my OC for an OC contest for a super awesome webcomic. Could someone please give me some feedback? On anything? Did I mention I was really hyper? I'm trying so hard to refrain from typing in all caps right now.

Imho, only two things. Firstly, there isn't as much a crease in the undergarment as one would expect. Also, as the coat reaches the top of the neckline, you kinda lose its edge, needs some defining. Secondly, as you have it drawn, the coat isn't supposed to be showing through the medic band and the strap holding the sniper up. But I suppose that problem will be taken care of when you color the picture, which I strongly suggest you do.

Mmm... Yeah all those will be taken care of when I actually do the lineart. This was really just a "I'M REALLY HYPER SO LET'S START SKETCHING WHATEVER COMES TO MIND" kind of thing.

I was kinda looking for feedback on the design and anatomy.
