Yep. It's been proven. The epidemic has been traced back to that outbreak in that Indian village a few months back.

After three weeks of investigation the WHO has confirmed that Chinese Rabes is in fact, as suspected, the Languritis virus discovered five months ago in the Indian village of Guanto. A statment was released at a press conference this morning:

"We have traced a line of infections from the apparent patient zero in China back to Nilgiri region of souith India"

The spokesperson went on to criticize the Indian and Chinese governments for their lack of cooperation and urged the importance of international communication in the face of this epidemic:

I must admit, this is getting far more scarey than I would have thought. The Israeli Palestinian ceasefire is probably the scariest thing, ironically - however martial law in Greece is pretty scarey too. I went to Athens on holiday in June while all this shit was going down in India. That's a very scarey thought.

This is different to other diseases; I'll admit that zombie apocolypse is taking it a bit far, but you can't kid yourself and pretend that something frightening isn't happening. While it may not be fatal increased agression and permenant brain damage sounds bad enough before you take into account the people who have been killed.
