Not abandoned intentionally, just ended up doing what most people do when they start a project, get a bit bored of working on it, and unconsciously end up never touching it again.

Might not be too late, if your computer works like mine that will all have gone in to your recycling bin, and you can get them back from there. It's when you delete them from there that they're permanently gone.
