I was thinking, maybe someone could make a video guide to DQ? Since not many members these days read the actual rules, why not? It just directs you to the video your first time on the forum. It explains all the people who are in charge and how important they are, and explains all the rules and also includes what the sections are and where to post certain subjects. It just came up, but it sounds to me like a very useful thing that will block immature users.

Idea #2: That thing on other sites that confirms that you are human, where you have to type in exactly what it says, and it's slightly hard to read, should be on here due to the increased amount of spam bots.

There are so many rules...it would probably take maybe 7 minutes...how ever, a lot people get the piss scared out of them by lots of words, and for some reason would ratehr watch a video...so good idea if it goes through :)

Idea 1 im not really have a nice picture of it working but i am making a preview of it for us to mess around with... do note it's a preview so i will think theres something wrong with you if you think it's good. and it going to be done by me so i will think your even more crazy and i will make a point of it.

Idea 2. What if you were to code a few more of them but change them in such a way so that most of the bots would have to be recoded for each of them. And you just switch them each day. It might help if you were to keep the same elements.
I know the idea is stated real well and i really can't get the right words to tell you what im thinking of. It's also might not be the best idea. there's better and faster ways out there to stop them most likely and bbforums might not help out if anything goes wrong with the site

You may have noticed I'm quite immature. It's fun. Well, on occasions. Point is, forget people not taking time to read the rules. It's all their fault when they get banned.

DUNNO. I've nagged at the Admins to add it but I have no idea, really.

DQ has that in place already but the thing is people who program the bots know how to break them. In a nutshell you'll never be able to completely stop spam because people will always figure a way around it.


As for the guide, the idea has popped into my head before but I don't really think it's all that necessary, people don't need to be treated like they don't know how to do anything. Also as Polo said if they don't read the rules and misbehave they'll just get banned.

Well there's not that much rules anyways so I doubt there's going to be any tl;dr problems. Just depends on if they want to take it in. If not a video isn't going to solve things.
