Gun Fire

Ya, i need help on alot of things. Another beind Gun Fire. How do you make

it look so clean, while mine looks like a square. examples, and tutorials

(that work and go with flash mx 2004/ pro 2004), are strongly welecome (i

have bad luck finding them).

Basically it depends on your style and gun.

Remember that

light is white, not yellow, so let that be the base colour. Its a very common

misconception when drawing muzzle fire to use yellow and red, when generally,

white and bright yellows are used in flashes.

Also Pistols, Silenced

Weapons, Sub-Machine Guns, Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, etc, all give out

different styles of flashes. If you're aiming for it to be realistic, then

you really have to be variable in how you do things.

Anyway, I'll go

and do this tutorial before the blood one.

What i do

is kinda draw a horsechestnut leaf on its side (the star shaped one). Do this

in white and add a few extra points onto it. Soften the fill edges. I would

make it a symbol so you can do the next bit. Then on the next frame put the

alpha down to about 30-40% and make it longer and thinner. Then, on the frame

after that make it disappear.

Here's one that's in my Massacre part.

just different sizes & alphas. I also added a big transparent

white radial that fades out to add to the lighting. Hope it helps!

you can just draw a few lines with the brush and make them a reasonable size

and add a huge soften fill like 50 by 50 and then fill the middle with white

(make sure you started it by using lightish yellow
thats another way but i

doubt it'd be better than silent killah's

them...but the gradiens totally own me!...I Tried to kinda mimic silent

killahs gunshot thing....but i couldnt do it cuz my gradientness

I'll see if I can make a more clear way to show how I

made the gradients, but all I really did was have white/yellow-ish in the

middle, yellow on the outside, and white outside of that that is alpha'd to

make a fade effect. Not that hard. :D For my shootout comp. I used a brush,

and drew a flash, and soften fill edges

On mine...make sure that you get the YELLOW on the INSIDE!!! Or

else it keeps its original shape kinda...and looks a little ugly

The guy flew

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much. It would be better if he just fell

to the ground... And the bullets felw quite slow and they were to thick ( the

bullets) but it was smooth like an smoothy. But i dont like smootys so i dont

like your animation ! just kidding :lol: :lol: :lol:

yeah i loved the flashes in the

shootout comp. so i used that style.

also how could i improve the

blood? i used some of the soften fill edges and did some brush blood as

well.

i called it :D Toughluck :D coz its in the style of him with

the huge chunky sticks and different coloured heads.
