Endorphin is the industry's first
dynamic motion synthesis software. It is a really cool program to play around
with. The free downloadable learners edition does basicly everything the full
version does except let you export the movie to a format that 3D programs can
use (IE. Maya). I have just been playing around with it using the stock
animations that come with it in different situations.
Unfortunately
its Windows only and your computer has to meet certain specs. It is a really
fun program to play around with, I avise watching everyone of these videos:

play around with it.
It may help animators learn physics
too.
