The colors make them really hard to look

at. Not that they are ugly, but its that you have to focus on them to make

them out as opposed to just rolling your eyes over them.

Yeah man the

colours are really bad. The USP looks alright I guess but the rest have

wonky lines or at least where lines should be. You should keep the lines in

your guns.

They all look traced, good guns shouldn't look traced. Learn to

colour in, just because its that colour in the picture doesn't mean it

should be that colour. Generally guns are monochromatic except for a few

specialist parts on a few specialist guns.

Its all about style and

personal experimentation. You'll find a way to do something that you like

that someone else might not and you'll develop a style, that you would

like.

Generally guns need to be cell shaded, as they are 3D oriented

objects. This is basically imitating a 3D program. I use it when drawing alot

of boxed and box based objects.

Some look good and some look bad but

its up to you. If you like them the way they are then thats what should

matter. You shouldn't spend more time than you need to, trying to please

somebody that might never be happy with your work. But as long as you

understand that you will never please everyone, and you will never get it

right, you can only try as much as you want and the result if a recipient of

your input. Nowadays, there is so much quantity, people easily prefer quality

over quantity, and this should be reflected as a part of your works. Do you

prefer quality over quantity? is it easier?

they're ok, but seriously, try to make them

NOT look traced, i personally like simpler guns, with less detail, and if you

trace them, why dont you just use the originals?

They look a

bit better with the outlines and better colours but that Glock man, it just

has lines everywhere that shouldn't be there. That's what I think Oscar and

Netrosis are referring to when they say it looks traced. It looks traced cos

you've traced every single line. You don't need to do that. You need to

know the gun and only trace the bits that should be there. If you understand

what I'm saying. It's all a bit confusing.
