Tags being screwed with

Okay, I'm sure you've noticed this by now, but someone has been adding retarded tags to any thread they can get their hands on. I'm sure if this could have been dealt with, it would have been by now.

I recommend either setting up a log, or deleting the feature altogether.

The fact is I saw tags earlier such as 'v a place for small animals', 'ED = erectile disfunction' and 'A chopshop for seaweed'.

Not only does this not help the search, it's also very, very annoying.

I didn't do any of those...I agree the tag system is stupid, can't trust people to be serious with them.

It's pretty common for people to insert jokes into tags. Happens on a lot of the forums I visit. Oftentimes it seems as though tags are only there for that reason, actually.

Also, Thunderaven, I hope you like your poor reading comprehension; that tag says "techno-thrillers involving small animals." It's one tag split in two. The v is there to get around the way the tags are ordered.

Yes I wrote those two, but those were the only ones, I swear.

I think one of the reasons Boredom Nexus has been closed because of it's tags.
I saw tags which were rather disturbing.
