The movie was epic and fast-paced. Mullins was the best fighter I've seen so far besides Etrius. The detail improved IMMENSLY and I'm extremely glad you took the time to improve Boomer's look and make it longer than the others. I think you may get a few awards for this on Newgrounds.

What a master piece :P well it was worth the wait but kinda short. Now dont get me wrong, i use macromedia flash too and i under stand that its like virtualy impossible to make a flash scene for more than 30 seconds, so its impressive u can make this, but after that wait, =( kinda KINDA not worth the wait. I liked the storyboard, rawr ftw!

Anyways, I definitely liked this one more than the other two, especially when Ray is fretting over Mullins, some good voice acting there. It really contrasts the two characters, strong and bold against young and neurotic.

The only thing I can say that is bad about part C, is that Mullins' mouth, while he is slashing at all the evils with his knife, is hilarious. It kind of takes the drama away from a distressing scene, which is unfortunate.

However, overall it was excellent. I'm already pumped for part D, if it's anything like Castle III parts A, B, C and D. Then part D will rule over them all.

Osc, you did it again. Awesome work, I must say I'm absolutely owned by the dose of awesomeness inside. It's got everything - drama, horror, action, suspense, thrill and comedy. Yes, I loved the comedic reliefs, such as where he falls off the stairs, his facial expression when he is stabbing zombies (like Waddles said) and who could forget "some other guy"? xD Great stuff. Very original concepts, and thus unpredictable. That's a 5/5 and a 10/10.

Maybe one small point of criticism from my side would be the fact that I miss the variety in action (in other words currently it's 'more of the same')
Haven't had that feeling in Castle III or part A and B
Not sure if more people share this criticism or if it's just me XD

But anyhow the animation was good!! I like the part where you see a brick wall with one brick out looks really good!

HOLY SHIT, BEAUTIFUL.
Probably my favourite part of this was the little details like the mouths, the cigarette embers, etc. Beautifully done, it felt like I was watching a film. I noticed that you followed quite a few film rules, (rule of thirds, depth of field, etc) which made appreciate the whole "cinematic" feel to it even more. Well written, art was great, blah blah blah.

I love Mullins' monologue. His part reminds me of Sin City. Joshua Tomar is such an awesome voice actor, love his accent. What i find rather disturbing is that Mullins' mouth was always opened until he started speaking to Ray. It would look a lot better if he clenched his teeth on his way.

Oscar, Dude, you did it again! This one rocks :D I just thought it went kinda fast and that it probably explained too much but I'll watch it again later when I'm not this tired. Love the voice acting. It's kinda different in a way then the previous. This is not a bad thing, it just explains with whom we are dealing with here: a very determined and experienced soldier who has made his way up to sergeant.

I also love his blooming hatred for the General and since RepD will probably be too short, there might be a brawl in Castle IV between him and the General :D at least I hope :p

Nice job with the camera, it really takes you in the action. Love the trip of the stairs XD and also loved the storyboard action sequence.

What if the whole point of Repercussions was just to give the soldiers a little backstory and character? What then?

The arm was probably still there and it attacked Boomer, Mullins, Roberts and SOGgy which got Mullins seperated from the rest.

incase you wanted to know,ray shot mullins on purpose,one week ago ray opened his refrigerater and all his cocacola was gone but he realize a sticky note that says i.o.u. and 2 days before they started the mission mullins said that theres no way that he will pay him back because one of might die there so ray was pissed and when they were a the castle ray saw him and decided to shoot him and make up an excuse,so now you know.

I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet but in the flash back when it shows that blast behind the soldier(either Roberts or SOG) could that be the blast the lured the evils away from plisskin because in that room were mullins is there is quite alot of evils.

Also in the upcoming section of repercussions there is another shot of an explosion and of I'm pretty sure that in the last episode it is going to be a original chracter but I no mullins was separated from the squad but they were by chance still in the same room so rep part d could possibly be most likely be about Boomer himself and Ray says at the end Boomer god I hope they made it I think thats kind of a give away for some reason.

This is AWESOME!!!!!!! Epicness at it's ultimate form.

Personnally I think the Shootout and Knife parts were the bests action scenes you ever made Oscar. I must have watched them a billion times.

I though that Loyd and the others were great soldiers but Mullins is by far the most determined combattant of them all. I can't believe how strong his survival instinct is strong. Even when he loses his gun he keeps fighting to the end with his knife. Gruesome!!!

As for the technical parts, I love the different focus you did now and then, the awesome 3D stairs ascension and the camera angle you put in place in the knife scene.

And the music fits perfectly, as it always did since Castle III, it puts you right into the perfect ambiance.


BTW Sarge's voice sounded much like Solid Snake to me...

I'm thinking the same thing here. And it's not just the voice, he's a compulsive smoker too xD : "I need a cigarette" !!!
