helps to make it look more powerful:

I think it would be better if you only blur the actual arm

you got 1 part right,

not using a "y" axis blur, however Oscar is right, only blur the arm, thats

the part that's moving.

for my punches as well.
Except:

I Only blur the arm
I shake the

screen
And I use some more movement
