A Castle Repercussions Update

Hi folks.

I have some news about the upcoming Castle episode. First of all, there's a new screenshot in the upcoming section. It's larger than usual. Why you ask? I guess I felt for it :) This will be the final screenshot before release.

As I kept animating and I wanted to make sure all parts would be completed this month. Sadly, this won't happen. It would be possible if I had rushed and kept on rushing - but that's something I don't feel like doing since it would just give a half hearted result.

Parts A and B will be released this month as I said they would be in a case like this. I will keep on working on the other two parts. There's things I may want to edit/remake, cut away and stuff like that. And the final scene is something I just want to be as good as possible. I think this idea is better than to just hold them in and keep you all waiting even longer. The wait has been ridiculously long I know. Two years this January.

I will come back with an actual release date soon. Just some very small changes and then it's all set! Thanks all for your patience with me :) If you have more questions ask ahead in this thread.

I hope you get in top 10 monthly on NG, Oscar, all your effort and the quality of your animation certainly worths it. The story will be continued, I can't wait for it. It's very good you're realeasing half of it this year, after all, you promised some animation for 2008 in the trailer. :P

AGH!!!! December's FINALLY here!! It's been driving me crazy and I'm pretty sure my friends are getting tired of hearing me tell them that Repurcussions is schedualed to come out this month! Now I get to count down the days until my head explodes from suspense!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!:eek6::mad2::eek6:

This is pretty incredible. All the anticipation of the last two years is nearing it's climax. This has reminded me of why we are all here. Every one of us was attracted here because of Castle, no matter how we may deny it. I still remember my first ever post, arguing that the most likely subject of screenshot with the gun on the red background was the soldier who has the boxing match with the zombie in the helicopter at the end of part D. It's weird to think that after the best part of two years I'm actually gonna find out if I was right.

It's also weird to think that this is the last chance we are ever going to have to ponder and excruciate every last shred of screenshot and try to squeeze out as much meaning as possible. Personally I found that after a while I stopped doing so, believing that that practice was for younger members and fanboys/girls. But goddammit I am a fanboy and proud of it!

While I agree that the new material is very likely to be not from, to coin a phrase, the Castleverse (eg; the blowing leaf - there is no vegetation seen there before/the mountains are less stylized), that does not specifically mean that it is earth. Remember Part A? The General states that "the rain forests are nearly gone" yet there appears to be a vast expanse of lush vegetation in the background, and coniferous forests don't produce leaves to blow in the wind. But weather it is earth or another universe, it needs to be gotten to somehow, and that means that we are likley to see a scene set in the base.

Then again, I could be completely wrong.

Wow Oscar you put the "kick" back in stickfigure movies. Lately i've been seeing stickfigure animations that are the same, but you've evolved stickfigure animations and actually put a plot in it and action that you'd only find in the movies.
