What animation program is used to create castle series?

Oscar used many programs, the main one was Macromedia Flash 8. He also used Swift 3D for 3D designs but... As a newcomer to animation you should start with Flash.

How does the guy who animates caslte make it all the same and run so smoothly?

It's quite simple.
You write a script of what is gonna happen in your animation, yeah? Then you open up Flash, look just around the bottom of the screen and click on the button called "Actions" you copy and paste the script into the box that pops up, save and wait for about 5 days. -- It is said you shouldn't turn off your computer in the meantime, as it will disturb the process and create possible glitches in the making of the animation.
