Vcams are an awesome piece of actionscript and
extremely useful. It allows to zoom in and out and move around without
actually editing the things in your movie. How you ask? It makes it so that
anything and everything inside it's viewscreen is the only thing you see in
the movie. For example if you had a tiny viewscreen just over the head of you
stick figure it would appear in you movie like it was a huge head taking up
the whole frame. If you want one contact me and i'll give you one that i got
curtesy of Rezter.

Wow that sound cool. Is it just code
or is there a way to do through the UI/Bars and stuff. Everytime i've tryed
zooming in i've always like tweened it and stuff.... lol :) Is there like a
tutorial sumwhere cos i'd rather do it myself.

You can probably find a coder somewhere that'll show you how to
do it but i checked out the actionscript on mine and there's no way i'll
ever try and make one.

Vcam 2.0 is nearly out.
It kicks so much arse.
You can apply blurs, that and the fact that
Adam Phillips used it with Littlefoot to create a dynamic scene that makes it
appear to scroll 3D-like, and automatically blurs stuff.
Oh, and
rotation!!! :D
Its all just sweeet stuff. I can't wait till Adobe
realises the potential of having a Vcam that outputs like the
stage.
As far as making DVDs is concerned, I'd be using the Vcam,
then using Swf2Avi and then outputting as a png sequence then importing and
then, erm yeah..
There are a few things you can do to improve the
Vcam, and for those wondering, it is possible to add an interface over the
top of the Vcam.
