The off-topic section and the general

forum is pretty much the same thing. Do you think the sections should be

merged?

dont merge, i feel that lots of forums have off-topic bits and

they work out fine, also its a place to put all of the topics gone off-topic,

instead of locking a topic, and making people sad.
