He's been helping behind the scenes for a while now and he's the only candidate. Since two of our other moderators are missing - SPP and Tawl - it was suggested that we hire another one, lest I actually get the chance to say "Do I have to do everything myself" and have a valid point instead of being mildly annoying.

That mean that we didn't concider ANYONE else for this position. You had no chance of being selected. Not even a glimmer, not even a second of a chance. Except for Varth but he declined anyways. Besides, it's not exactly fair to corner every intellectual person in the mod group. That would leave the members feeling like a lot of useless imbeciles... How fitting...

Oh for goodness sake people it's not that hard.

If Victory's blunt statement didn't state it clearly enough here's a little more depth. Polo has been helping the admins and mods with behind-the-scenes work long before a lot of you joined. (SVORNT does not count, that was just a failure by us in general.) With SPP's absence and my own infrequency coming up he was offered the position. We didn't hold some kind of election, or consider a list of members. We chose Polo because of his history of helping, and standing reputation with us. End of story.

Nobody complained when Vic, myself, or SPP became moderators. If people are going to be sore over this, then you don't have the maturity that we gave you credit for, and that is why we chose Polo over you.
