Explosions/Gun Fire/Smoke Tutorial

I havent

heard much about oscars progress for the explosion tutorial, but i need more

than explosion help. i need gun fire, and smoke.... Effects turorial, thats

the name. Any help?

as for the explosion i searched newground,

and didnt find anything to usefull... try to make your own. it isnt that

Umm yeh i made

this a year or two back. Just mimmick The shape with the brush tool in a very

brigt yellow, and then squigle in the middle with white. If you have flash 8

just blur it, if yu dont soften the edges then on the next key frame make it

shorter and lower the alpha to about 45%.

ya i tried the nova project one, that has a little too much

explosion, i just want some granade type explosions, and gunfire i mean the

gunfire itself, plus the effect when it hits a wall. Smoke i mean the remince

of a burned out fire or grenade explosion.

Those are Flash 8

filters, Flash 8 was not out a year or 2 ago.

GRIM has good

gunfire/explosions. I think someone already a posted a link to his explosion,

and the gunfires on the same site.

if so then here's my tutorial for it, first you draw a yellow

shape like

en you should have your final product, remember to make it into a movie clip

and blur it.
I'm sorry my example's so crap and not animated, but hey,

this is only my first tutorial, and besides Silhouette's tutorial is on the

way (and maybe Oscar's too).

mine but he has a different flame technique i think.
