You know what I have been thinking? What if the Castle series was filmed as a movie? Even if it was not computer animated with stick figures (Hell, I would still go to the movies to see that!) and was done with real people, how bad ass would that be? Could be something like... Castles: The Ancients Legacy or maybe Castles: Chronicles of Etrius or some other really sick name. What does everyone think? Also, who do you think would be best suited to film the movie (other than Oscar Johansson), I mean a real director with connections, to make it a damn good movie?

Well, yes.
I think the story definetly is good enough to be put into a movie that would be shown on the biografs.

But I don't know about real people, to me that would awkward and ruin the feeling for the castle series.

It's just like there are some parts that are better left as "to be continued". Like at the end of Castle 3 Part D the end shows Boomer and 3 soldiers...that part makes it more suspenceful and makes you want to see more of it.

Agreed, it would need to stay stick figures. However, I would see it either way and I think it would be bad ass either way. But sticks would make it a sure and true representation of the series.

Also, yes, the suspense is a huge part of it. However, I am saying to make a movie out of it all and be in more detail. I am sure it would work out either way.

Well hey, what can I say? If you want to make it into a movie, I say go for it.

i don't think it could ever work as a live action, but as an animated movie (possibly 3d) it would be.. alright.. i duno.. probly not.

It would be cool, but many, if not all, of the major league movie makers would not even look at it for an idea for a movie.

That really depends on who will lead film production, who will act, how much money will they spend.... We can get another "Bloodrayne" or we can get "Lord of the Rings"

I'd like it if it was made with stickfigures! High quality animating like... dont know, Ice Age or so.

It depends on Oscar, if he wants to film it or not.

I personally think the story is strong enough to be used in a real feature film. But the chances of it ever happening are pretty slim. It would be great to see, though.

If it would ever be made into a full length movie the script would have to be totally re-written to fit that kind of movie. I'm not sure if I'd want the movie to be with actual actors or fully 3D made - either would make me really excited :P
