View Full Version : Is Christmas really Christmas anymore?

This is just a rant, nothing
more.
In the good ol' days Christmas was when you stayed home with
your family and exchanged gifts for one another. At the time it was great,
innocent, and fun. But nowadays the only point to christmas is to spoil
rotten evil children with things they dont even deserve. Every year now
parent rush to Best Buy, Target, and Wal Mart just on the hint that its
December now. There injuries, bloodshed, and tears. Instead of wasting money
on your childs piece of crap XBOX 360 that costs up to $500+ dollars or the
Bran' Spankin' New Lexus for the average teenage girl who is such a bitchy
brat that keeps on saying " IF I DONT HAVE A CAR, I WONT HAVE FRIENDS! " .
How many friends do your want? You all ready have at least 40, and that one
fat chick you have just to make you look caring for all the big people. Also
the whole " Political Correct " things are really getting on my nerves. You
now have to be carefull on what you say to people through media or just in
person. If some news anchor or tv show host accidentally says Merry
Christmas, all the people who arent christian or catholic suddenly have the
right to say " Thats offensive! I now can get a lawsuit against them! ".
Youre also not safe to go up to someone and say the same thing, if you say
that to a non christian/catholic person they can do the same thing. I hope
you found this entertaining for the duration of this rant, so now I would
like to say...
Have a Happy Synthetic Holiday!

I think in the mass media, the true meaning of christmas is lost. HOWEVER,
as individuals, the true meaning of christmas is not lost.

Chrismas has been comercialised, Santa has sent elves todo cheap labour in
3rd world countried in places like Afganistan, because it's more
cost-effective.

My biggest problem
with the whole "Santa" buisness is that he's portrayed as an elf, and yet
he's over 6 feet tall.
Arent elves like.....2'4"? Im sure even KIRBY
should have a few inches on fatso.
