I've heard it's possible to

tween stickfigures, and I'm curious to how it is done, can anyone help?

yeah, you're able to

tween them, though i think its easyest to start with frame by frame, if you

didnt already try that :)

there is no

point in learning how to animate stickmen with tweens cause if you want to be

an animator for a career there will b no such things as tweens

thats

not treu because its hard to understand people will say tweening is bad but

if you understand it you can make good movies much faster.

true, but then people like me

will think ur a lazy homo, and most good animators, use the frame by frame

method use its good practice and bad animators, like me, need practice.

...Here's the

general way to tween a stickfigure. Let's say... walk.
1. Make the

stick.
2. Motion Tween it.
3. Double Click the figure and something new

will appear :0
4: It's a new screen, this is what you'll need for the

tween. Anyway, make the frames and edit the stick in those frames however you

want.
5. Go back to the scene.
6. Insert Keyframe to whatever frame

number you want.
7. In the last frame, place the stickman where ever you

wish him to be.
When you watch it, (if you had edited the frames as a

walk...) it will walk across the screen.

Well, that's how I do it!

I bet its just

easier to make a graphic or movie clip and tween it from there. like, from

left to right.

frame by frame!!!! its better, i think...

just convert

the walk, run, etc of the stick, and move it slightly frame by frame, more

frames, more work, but much better, cuz sometimes tweens can get

frustrating

Frame by frame takes too long. But it is an option, though.

Your all wrong, he means shape tween it.

I

only use it for short short movements, or in between two frames that need

some smoothing out. But you want to have each limb on their own frame (btw,

you should already). Make a new keyframe (depending on how slow you want to

motion to be) many frames behind the original. Then pose it to how you want

the limb to be like at the end. Then just on the frame, go down to

properties, and click shape tween. If it doesn't work you'll need to add

shape hints at the elbow and shoulder.

Tweening usually

takes longer to do than FBF as you have to define graphics, set axis points,

and generally, short tweened movements, (every 3-5 frames) is basically FBF

anyway.

I'd never reccomend it as a style, if you were to tween

stickfigures, I'd say jump the extra length and tween non-sticks. Its easier

to tween and make look good than sticks.

Shape tween my man! each part of the body, make a

layer for it..then, you shape tween that shit. Also you'll notice some stuff

moving not how you'd like it to, use Ctrl+h and move the guide around to

help you.

Structuraldefect

like i

said before just stick with fbf

No need to guide

someone through their animating career, and what was that post for anyways?

AlbinoZombie

anyway, the main think you need to know is

that tween is gay most of the time and you should do fbf animation instead.

it just comes out like loads cooler.

If you were an experienced animator you'd know you

have to use both on your animations to get good results :)
