I hope this will help someone, it's just a little
sound tutorial I made for Flash.
Step 1: Get on the internet. (Mozilla
Firefox, Internet, AOL Explorer, etc.)
Step 2: Get on the following
address: http://www.flashkit.com or www.newgrounds.com (go to the audio
portal on newgrounds)
Step 3: Download a certain sound in .wav.
Step 4:
Now... after it finishes downloading, open the folder.
Step 5: It's now a
compressed zip folder. Some of you always have trouble unzipping it (THERES
ALWAYS A PERSON OUT THERE), so heres a way to do it. Extract it. Right click
it and then play it on sound recorder.
Step 6: Once sound recorder is
open, save the file as a .wav.
Step 7: Oh my god! Guess what? The file has
been turned into a .wav. -claps-. We are not done yet, though. Open Flash
NOW!
Step 8: Import the sound file and trust me, unless you didn't listen
to me and didn't download it in .wav, then something might pop-up. If you
did listen to me, then you shouldn't have a problem.
Step 9: Click the
keyframe you wish to import the sound too.
Step 10: In properties, you
must look for a down button where the imported sound file is located. (No
point in telling you where it is, this is a no-brainer. Hint: It's a little
bit to the right.)
Step 11: After you have found the sound file, (please)
click it and the sound will be imported to the frame! (Exclamation point is
an exaggeration so please ignore it.)
Step 12: You can then choose if you
want it to loop or repeat.
I hope this tutorial helped someone who is
always having problems import sound.
