I think it was monday when i was playing halo pc online . a team

race game, which held on for hours cuz it is game after game after game. . .

i had to go to sleep so i turned off halo, and put the computer on hibernate.

woke up, wanted to play again and my comp assassinated with pop-ups

and spyware junkies....

i got McAfee VirusScan installed, updated

cource, and Microsof Defender Beta 2. . . but for some reason whenever i run

HALO, i get message

saying:

______________________________________
Exception!

[X]

Gathering Exception Data. .

.

[OK]

______________________________________

thats

how the window looked and read....i waited few minutes and a error came up

saying HALO needs to close..... [X] being the close button :P

i

reinstalled several times, uninstalled fully then installed fully also. . .

but wont help. also i switched users and tried, same thing.

im running

another scan at the time, but if it doesnt help , what can i do?

Oh no shit

Sherlock!

Maybe the game has been infected or is defected somehow.

When you play online, some servers send you stuff via your IP.

PS:

Did you delete all folders that were connected to the game. Sometimes

uninstalling just doesn't delete allo and leaves a couple files and folders

onto you HD.

most likely your autoplay.exe file has some problem with your

halo configuration, or you might have blocked something on mcafee that you

didnt plan on, just double check everything and ask tech support if your

stumped

hmmm.... i ran the virus scan and spyware scan, and it found numbers of

things. cleaned and deleted them. and now the game runs fine, except somedays

its bad, if u know what a PING is, the average is between 1-100, and me

having 700-2900+ is not good. which made me come to conclusion, i gotta run

another scan, which actaully helped.

btw ty for ur suggestions

:P
