Happy 6th birthday DQ!

Hi folks!

Today is December 4th, and that means DQ just turned 6 years old!

Can you believe that? Six years? I remember that exact day when the first version launched. I was still living at home and I sat in my room, and was so totally excited that the new website already had 12(!) registered users in the fresh phpBB forums. I sat up late that night and replied to various spam posts and felt that it was the start of something great.

I'd like to thank all of you dear members that still hang around this small website, you make it go around. Also a big thanks to the staff who keeps the place intact, even in times when I haven't been around much myself.

On a side note - as suspected the new version of DQ isn't quite ready yet. But better release something with proper quality instead of something half-assed-rushed right? :)

This website has vhanged my life. I remember the first post I made, I was but a kid, but so were we all. Recalling random conversations and still thinking of Dale, Matt, TOH, Kreek, and especially Osc as my idols is something that makes me smile. Knowing that the community has grown and became bigger and better makes me happy aswell. I hope this website last much longer, because the adds and flash keep it alive, but it wouldn't be human without us.

To me, Harald the flying zombie jokes lost their funny appeal long ago, but I still like him. Nowadays it's not as a funny joke, but as a well-known fan convoyed background evil which brings a smile to my face when I see him for reasons other than humor.
